Patty has also worked as an adjunct professor of Interior Design. She emphasizes communication with clients to developing designers. She has taught Introduction, History of Architecture and Furnishings, Materials of Interiors Design, Space Planning, and Business of Interior Design.
Patty is color consulting specialist. She is a graduate of the Eiselman Center of Color Training in Seattle Washington.

Established in 1986 as a window covering business, Patty Allen Interior Design Inc., doing business as Triangle Decorators, has evolved into a full service residential design firm.
